Last year a friend of mine showed me this beautiful music video. Every now and then I'll watch and it's like I'm watching it for the first time ever. It extremely visually appealing and the song is great too. The song is called Baby I'm Yours, it's by an indie French band called Breakbot but the video itself was created (handmade) by Irina Dakeva. There are about 2000 watercolour images painted one after another which took 3 and a half months to create. I think that's insane... in a good way. The transitions are so smooth and clever, and the constant change in colour makes it even more appealing. I absolutely hate when a music video has no relation to the song. For Breakbot's first music video I think it's amazing. The images really compliment the audio and presents an energy that may make you get up and dance.
Communication design seeks to attract, inspire, create desires and motivate people to do or think something using words, images, artifacts, spaces, sound, and movement. Your job is to explore and create original concepts—not merely to emulate others' ideas (although others will inspire you)—and to expand your ideas about what it is to communicate.
