Your job is to explore and create original concepts—not merely to emulate others' ideas (although others will inspire you)—and to expand your ideas about what it is to communicate.

Reposting Yacov's Wit
My re-post was basically decided as soon as I got to Yacov's post entitled "These fonts make the girls sweat even more", a title referencing the music video he posted for our expressive type phase.
Also included in his post was the statement "If that wasn't expressive type, than type cannot express", which I thought was a pretty profound statement, as well as the kind of statement that makes you not actually want to disagree with it. The writing was good, and the European techno was in good taste.
